Thank you, truly, for reading, for visiting, and for the time you've given these stories. It means more than a page like this can say.

A private scratchpad, just for you — not published anywhere. Good for getting a scene or a stanza out of your head before it's ready for a manuscript. Saved to this browser only.
Publish to Journal puts this note on your public site's Journal section (after you press Publish to site on the Publish tab). Everyone on your newsletter list can then be pointed to it.
Add a new title whenever you finish a book or reader. Leave the link blank to show it as "coming soon".
Edit a book's chapters and images here and publish straight to that book's own site — no separate sign-in, no redeploy. This works because each reader already pulls its content from a GitHub Gist on load; publishing here writes to that same gist.

Not loaded yet. This finds your existing Sylvania gist automatically using the same GitHub connection as the Publish tab.
Not loaded yet. Editing here changes narration text and choice wording, not the branching structure itself — nodes, their connections, and the mini-games stay exactly as built.
Where your messages actually go: private DMs and new wall posts are delivered by Netlify Forms, not stored on this page. To read them: open your site on app.netlify.com → the site's dashboard → Forms in the left menu. You'll see three forms there, site-dm, wall-message, and newsletter-signup, each with its submissions. Newsletter signups collect there too; export them as CSV to get your mailing list.
To stop checking manually: in that same Forms section, open Settings & usage → Form notifications → Add notification → Email notification, and put in your own email. After that, every DM or wall post lands straight in your inbox the moment someone sends it.
If the Forms tab shows nothing at all (not even a submission from testing), the likely cause: Netlify now requires form detection to be switched on per site before it will collect anything. Go to Project configuration → Forms → Enable form detection, then redeploy the site once, then send yourself a test DM to confirm it lands.
Public wall entries below. Add a message to publish it to the site, or remove one that shouldn't be there.
Publishing syncs the Library, Bio & Links, and Message Board to every visitor, everywhere, without redeploying the site.
Generate one at github.com/settings/tokens → "Generate new token (classic)" → check only the "gist" scope → copy the string starting with ghp_. Never share this token in a chat or email.
